OTHER POSSIBLE TOURIST ACTIVITIES:
- Andeanism: Straddling the Andes, the eastern and western Cordillera is a land of gaunt
mountains with peaks as high as 6.542 meters (21.806 ft) from were you will be able to
admire the Pacific Ocean.
- Trekking: Los caminos del Inca, there are three major trails leaving from La Paz or from
the vecinity.
Crossing the eastern Cordillera through passes as high as 5.000 meters (16.600 ft), these
trails will gradually descend toward the lowland tropics to finally reach the large
villages of Coroico and Chulumani situated on the warm high valleys at 1.700 - 1.800
meters ( approx. 5.600 ft)
- The Amazonian Forest:Monochrome of a mysterious green, it offers a large and still
unknown quantity of wildlife and vegetation of which very little study or classification
has been made. This wild region of the evolution of the north-south continent species,
will leave you breathless.
